In advance of Ueda Tatsuya's solo concert in Odaiba,Tokyo from September 8 to September21,reporter Efrus Erin cautht up with him to ask about his ideas for composing songs, his plans for the concert and his hobbies and interests.
In this interview, I met Ueda Tatsuya, the "U"of the popular band KAT-TUN, in his studio. Though he is not the only guy from Johnny's to do a solo, he is the first member of the group to have his own concert. I remembered him saying he's a good boxer and, even though it was a little sudden and kid of random, I punched him a couple of times.
"I've been practicing boxing for three years. It's my biggest hobby,"said Ueda while showing me his skills. "I'll be performing it in my concert since it's something unique that I really want to show."
After my hand started to bleed after the last punch I gave him, we took a break from fighting and sat down to continue the conversation. I asked about his plans for the concert.
"I'll sing rock, ballads, dance music and a lot more. I composed 12 songs for the concert," answered Ueda referring to a few of my questions. "I though if I chose only one theme for the concert, both the audience and I would get bored. I want to express various emotions, so chossing different genres is actually my theme."
"I heard there's something called 'KAT-TUN' fashion," said Ueda after I jumped to another random subject. He said he doesn't really know about Gothic Lolita or other styles from girls in Harajuku or Akihabara that were mentioned on the Eye-Ai fashion article. But he added that, unlike other Johnny's groups, KAT-TUN has many male fans who try to follow their appearance.
Eye-Ai：Ok, not let's move to your composing and lyrics writing passion, before the interview will be lost in other directions!
Ueda Tatsuya：I don't stick to one genre of songs even though I compose ballads most often. My first song is called "Love in snow" and is also ballad. It was the hardest song to write and because I feel very attached to it, I like this song the most.
Eye-Ai： When did you feel like writing songs so much and becoming a singer?
Ueda Tatsuya：That's when KAT-TUN started its live. Before that, the members sang other Johnny's groups songs. I though it will be easier and cool to compose by myself.
Eye-Ai：What inspires you when you compose songs?
Ueda Tatsuya：Well I have the idea long before I actually compose. In everyday life, I have a moment which I feel like expressing in a song, so I keep it somewhere as a record in my keitai cell phone as a text message.
Eye-Ai：How long did you prepare for the concert and what did you do?
Ueda Tatsuya：I started the preparation because of our KAT-TUN tour. The other members give me of advice. I take some of it, bit because they are not very serious about it, 80% of their advice is jokes.
Eye-Ai：So, how do you handle your pressures?
Ueda Tatsuya：I don't have pressures yet. When I watch other singers'live concert, I feel like doing it by myself more and more. I wonder if it's ok not to have pressure like this.
Eye-Ai：Are you preparing some surprise for the concert?
Ueda Tatsuya：I can tell you I will dance a lot! This will be the new me! And I'm planning to compose a songs where an Okinawan instrument called the sanshin is used. It has only three strings and because of that the songs will be in the Okinawa style!
Eye-Ai：What about all the forgin fans who are coming to your concerts?
Ueda Tatsuya：Ah! I heard that recently. During this year's tour, I heard there are many foreign fans. I'm very happy! I asked "where to they sit" Ha ha ha.
Eye-Ai：Oh, you like foreign girls?
Ueda Tatsuya：Yes, of course, ansered Ueda with a broad smile.
Even though it was his first time to be interviewed by foreign journalist, Ueda seemed completely relaxed and not nervous at all. He even asked to learn a few words in three languages, which I taught him. It seemed like he enjoyed saying them very much.
We had a great time meeting Ueda Tatsuya and look forward to keeping up with the solo and group concerts of this talented performer!

内博貴、初ソロライブ決定 相關新聞
元ＮＥＷＳ・内、どん底から単独横アリライブ！
人気グループ「ＮＥＷＳ」「関ジャニ∞」の元メンバー内博貴（２２）が、年末年始に初の単独ライブ（５公演、７万５０００人動員）を行うことが１４日、発表された。
ジャニーズＪｒ．を従え、１２月２０、２１日に横浜アリーナ、来年１月３、４日に大阪城ホールで。２００５年７月に当時１８歳で飲酒し、無期謹慎処分の研修生から、昨夏の少年隊の主演舞台「ＰＬＡＹＺＯＮＥ」でカムバック。今年に入り、日テレ系「おせん」などドラマ２作を経て、コンサート復帰となる。
元所属グループの公演での飛び入り参加はあったが、本格的なライブ出演は０５年５月のＮＥＷＳの全国ツアー以来、約３年半ぶり。２日前に吉報を聞いた内は、リハーサルのためこの日、自宅のある大阪から上京し「また歌えることがうれしい」と喜びをかみしめた。
「また（歌の）ステージに立ちたいと、毎日思っていた」謹慎中にギターを始め、自宅の最寄り駅で友人と路上ライブを行い、Ｍｒ．Ｃｈｉｌｄｒｅｎの曲で声をからした。「どん底を見て、精神的に誰にも負けないくらい強くなった」と自信がのぞく。再ＣＤデビューなど来春にも検討される新展開に向け、試金石のライブを成功させる。

元ＮＥＷＳメンバー内博貴（２２）が約３年半ぶりに歌手復帰することが１４日、分かった。１２月２０、２１日に横浜アリーナで、来年１月３日、４日（２回）に大阪城ホールでソロ公演を行う。１８歳当時の飲酒のため謹慎生活を経験した内は「ファンの方々と会うのは久々なので、本当に幸せです」と喜んでいる。全５公演で７万５０００人動員予定の大舞台が用意された。
内がソロ公演開催を知らされたのは２日前だった。「またこういうチャンスを与えてくださって、感謝しています。ご恩を返せるように懸命に頑張っていきたい」と誓った。
１８歳だった０５年、仕事先の仙台市内で飲酒後に暴れていたところを補導された。所属事務所は無期限の活動自粛処分とした。翌０６年末に研修生として事務所に戻ったが、メンバーだったＮＥＷＳと関ジャニ∞からは事実上の脱退扱いとなった。
昨年夏の少年隊のミュージカルを経て、今年２月放送のドラマ「一瞬の風になれ」で本格復帰した。事務所社長のジャニー喜多川氏は「ファンの声はたくさん寄せられていたし、謹慎が明けてからもう１年以上。そろそろ自分の道を行かないと」と、歌うことを許した。
内は謹慎中、初めてギターを買い、大阪府内にある自宅の最寄り駅で夜中にストリートライブを行っていた。「新しいことがやりたくて。地元の友達とＭｒ．Ｃｈｉｌｄｒｅｎの曲を歌ったりしていました」。復帰ステージではＮＥＷＳ、関ジャニ∞の曲に加え、当時、作詞作曲した曲を歌うことを検討している。謹慎期間が、歌への意欲を高めてくれた。
ＮＥＷＳ錦戸亮（２４）から「コンサートで内のうちわを持ったファンがたくさんいたよ」と連絡を受けたのもうれしかった。「ステージに立ちたい。今までずっと、１日１回はそのことを考えていました。ブランクは感じていない。不安は多少あるけど、期待の方が大きいです」。喜多川氏は今後について「ソロなのかグループでやっていくのか、今回の結果次第で来年春以降の活動を考えていきます。今回は新人のつもりでやってもらう」と話した。

「嵐 」上海公演 相關消息
日本人気グループ『嵐』は上海のファンに特別な公演
『東方早報』の報道により、ラルク・アン・シエルバンド（L’Arc~en~Ciel）、浜崎あゆみなどの日本芸能人が成功に上海でコンサートをした後、日本でも名高い芸能事務所・ジェニーズ事務所もつい動き始め、今年から中国でも活動する予定だ。第一陣の派遣バンドは間もなくデビュー10周年の記念日を迎える超人気グループ・嵐だ。
今週の土曜日と日曜日、嵐は上海大舞台で2回のコンサートをする予定だ。初の上海公演だが、公演チケットは宣伝なしの情況でほとんど売り切ったという。上海のファンの熱情を知った嵐のメンバーたちがとても興奮で、その時今年の東京ドームコンサートよりもより素晴らしい公演をすると承諾した。
明らかになったところによると、コンサートのスタッフはすでに先週末に上海に到着し、嵐のメンバーも14日上海に到着する予定だ。また、目下公演のチケットはほとんど売り切ったが、日本側は特別に貴賓席を含む5％のチケットを用意し、14日当日で販売するという。偽のチケットを買わないために、ファンは正式な窓口でチケットを購入するよう日本側は呼びかけている。
